Acacias, or wattles, are shrubs and trees found in warm and tropical regions, from the Americas and Europe to Asia and Africa, however, the vast majority of species are native to Australia. They belong to the pea family. They are evergreen plants grown for their attractive foliage and bright yellow blooms. The genus varies in size from small shrups, ideal for containers, to large trees of 10m or more in height. ‘Fettuccini’ has highly decorative lime green foliage throughout the year. The new growth opens with coppery tones before turning to the fresh lime green colour. Small ball-shaped flowers appear in spring.
