Achillea is a group of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. These plants are known for their hairy, aromatic leaves. They sport, flat clusters of small flowers at the top of each flowering stem which can be orange, white, yellow, pink or red. A number of species, most notably A. filipendulina, A. millefolium, A. ptarmica, are widely available as garden plants. ‘Terracotta’ has masses of rich, terracotta flowers that fade to soft yellow in autumn. It is long flowering and drought-tolerant.
